Gideon Kobby aka (Kobby Lord)
Music 🎶 career
Kobby Lord as his stage name, the first of five children. Gideon Anane Kobby born on July 15, 1986.
He was raised in Dambai before he moved to Accra where he continued schooling. He attended Bueman Senior high School and became the entertainment prefect in 2004 and proceeded to University of cape coast , where he studied DBS is business management and had his leadership certificate in Bible studies from the Word of Faith Bible institute in Accra.
Kobby Lord began his music career as an underground rapper, participating in campus rap competition where he won best student entertainer of the year, Best student Rap God of the year etc.
After high school he formed a group called Holy Ghost Connection which is a Christian entertainment group where they organize and entertain church programs. He managed members of the group from Drama, music, poetry, comedy and corrography.
Growing up as an upcoming artist He was inspired by great musicians like Okomfo Kwadee, Wutah, Reggie Rockstone, Samini the rain God , Sarkodie and other international artists.
He released his first single “Am The Holy Ghost” which earned him an award nomination in the Western North Ghana music awards as the Gospel hip-hop song of the year.
He later collaborated with Prince Will on his second single “Asem no nie” and featured Bessa Jones on his best hit song PRAYER which made waves in 2021.
In 2017 he joined the Alliance Invading Music as a co-manager to Awal Dexter one of Ghana’s youngest music celebrities where he contributed to “Letter to the President project in Ghana.
Kobby Lord collaborated with the Ghana Environmental and Protection Agency 2019 and released a song on Biodiversity campaign project during the 2019 covid-19 times.
He is currently signed to his affiliate company (Zollyhood Universe) as an artist in Zollyhood music and at the same time serves as the marketing manager in the whole company for more info on Gideon Kobby tenure as the marketing manager.
